Svanhild Strøm, senior designer for Dale of Norway, was kind enough to answer our questions in the context of our Win your favorite Dale of Norway sweater contest.

Q.: Can you give us an overview of the collection coming in 2015?

S. Strøm: For the 2015 collection we have focused on mixing the timeless Scandinavian colour range with energetic sporty accents. Designs are based on our heritage, mixed with fashion elements.

Q.: When did you start working on the 2015 collection?

S. Strøm: We start our design process in January. Samples prototypes are developed during spring and sales samples are ready for our sales meeting in November….and then we start the process all over again!

Note: When Ms. Strøm wrote to us, the samples were submitted to US and Canadian employees in Burlington. We say hello to Ms. Strøm, Nancy Langlais, Caroline C. Grimsley and Henrik Lumholdt and wish them a good meeting! (We're a little jealous: we look forward to see AND (!) to wear these new sweaters!!)
