Pear and Almond Pie
Ingredients:
1 commercial puff pastry
100g butter
150g sugar
2 eggs
30g flour
90g almond powder
3 or 4 pears
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
In a bowl, combine sugar and eggs, then add flour and almond powder. Add the butter to the mixture and mix well.
Spread the puff pastry in a hollow pan with a high edge, like a cake pan. A pie pan could also be used but the cake pan will give a thicker pie.
Pour the contents of the bowl over the puff pastry.
Peel the pears, cut them into quarters before placing them on the mixture forming a crown.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Unmold the pie once it is a little cooled, taking care not to damage the crust.
Place on a decorative plate.
